What We Offer
Conversation Companions provides active listening and reflecting sessions designed to help you feel heard and seen. Our sessions offer:
- A calm, comforting space to talk through what’s on your mind
- Active listening without judgment
- Open reflection using tools like the We Practice Life deck, Needs and Feelings Wheels, and Non-Violent Communication principles
- A supportive presence during overwhelming times
What We Don’t Offer
Conversation Companions is NOT: – Therapy or counseling – Mental health treatment or diagnosis – Crisis intervention or emergency services – Medical, legal, or professional advice – A substitute for licensed mental health care

Payment Policies
Payment Timing
- Individual sessions: Payment required at time of booking through TidyCal
- Monthly Bundle: Full payment ($240) due at time of booking; covers four sessions plus text support for 30 days from first session date
- Free Check-Ins: No payment required; limited to two per week
Accepted Payment Methods
Payment processed securely through TidyCal’s integrated payment system using Stripe.
Refund Policy
- 24+ hours before session: Full refund available
- Less than 24 hours before session: No refund, but you may reschedule once without penalty
- No-shows: No refund; session is forfeited
- Monthly Bundle refunds: Prorated refunds available only for unused sessions if you need to discontinue service due to unforeseen circumstances
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations
- 24+ hours notice: Cancel or reschedule without penalty
- Less than 24 hours notice: Session fee is forfeited, but one-time rescheduling may be allowed at discretion
- No-shows: Session is forfeited; no refund or rescheduling
Rescheduling
- Reschedule through TidyCal
- One free reschedule permitted per session with 24+ hours notice
- Multiple reschedules may result in forfeiture of session
Late Arrivals
- Sessions start at scheduled time regardless of arrival time
- If you’re running late, please notify as soon as possible
- Sessions end at scheduled time; late arrival time is not added to session length
Confidentiality & Privacy
What Stays Private
Everything you share in our sessions remains confidential. I will not share your information with anyone without your explicit permission.
Limitations to Confidentiality
I may be required to break confidentiality if: – You express intent to harm yourself or others – There is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult – I am legally required to disclose information by court order
Record Keeping
Minimal notes may be kept for session continuity (dates, general themes). Your privacy is respected at all times.
